Default short stack@3500 hands

Overall, I have 4108 hands at a mix of 25NL and 50NL, mostly 25NL, WR is at 4.46PTbb/100 which is 2x the big blind.

For Party, I am just shy of 3500 hands, 3485 to be exact. 414 hands of 50NL the rest at 25NL.

Overall WR is 5.45PTbb/100

1.03 at 50NL and 6.04 at 25NL.

Made a run at the 50NL tables one night and did well. Got my bank on party (my winnings and half the bonus I have cleared in the last two months) up to $200 and decided to play 50NL only.

Of course, that is when I started running card dead, losing $24 is 300 hands.

My typical VPIP of 12.5 dropped to 8, my PFR on 4 dropped to 2.

The hands I got didn't get paid off, and there were a couple of suckouts.

I have returned to the 25nl tables until I hit 200 again, and I am already making a come back.

the cards are running cold, and when I have a big hand no one else does, but I am making fewer mistakes too.

Total won on party is 97$

Okay, explain to me what 50NL and 25NL mean. Is that the max buyin? Why not just say the BB? I always wondered what that means exactly.

that is what they call it on partypoker. yes it is max buy in. just easier than typing out .1/.25NL

You would think that the easier way to type it would be the best way. But no... There was a point there where 25NL on party was .25/.50NL then they changed the blinds to .10/.25NL. And there are some sites (mainly BM casinos) that have 100NL with 1/1 blinds, but on most inline sites the same game is .5/1. It does get confusing. But assume that the Big Blind is 1/100th of the buy-in.

But your strategy is not to buyin with the whole amount right Beavis? Just cause your calling it 25NL and it is .25-.50 NL you still buyin with what was it, 24BB? Just curious cause if my bankroll continues to grow I will be getting there soon (.25-.50 NL I mean). I am currently trying to develop a good NL strategy for ring games so thats why I am asking questions like this.

yes, I buy in for 24bb, try not to let it get below 20. I play four tables at once, 3 if chatting. Try to play at least 100 hands a day this way. Got tired of O8b, and the S8b games get really rocking on stars sometimes, so this is my alternative.
