Default Making the step from $10+1 to $20+2

I am currently making about $600 a month playing $10+1 STTs. I was thinking of going up to the $20+2s so I can (in theory) make $1200 a month. I was slightly concerned tho that my style of play wont make the move to $20 tables very well as I play tight and then hope to get paid when I do make a hand.

I suppose what I would like to know, preferably from someone who has played in both...

Is there a big gap in class from the $10s to the $20s and will I still get paid when I make good hands?

I play on Victor Chandler, I have tried a couple of them already and they don't seem that different. I was just hoping someone would give a couple of tips or offer some wisdom to help me out.

not sure anyone here plays that level on Tribeca.

If you are doing well at the just 10s add a few 20s into your game every week until you feel comfortable with them.

It would be a good idea to track your progress with a spread sheet to see if you ROI stays the same.

I have played up to 30$ SnGs on Party and UB, but not tribeca sites. I didn't adjust my game at all when I stepped up.

I started on PokerStars a week ago (I'm not a new player, just hadn't played PS) with $25. I only get to play a couple of SNG's each night. I started in the 5's and moved up from there to the 10's and now play the 20's. I didn't notice much of a difference between the 5's and 10's. Between the 10's and 20's there is a slight difference.... you have to actually play a few hands of poker, rather than waiting for monsters and getting paid.

I am not particularily sure about the Tribeca network, but everywhere else I tried there typically isn't a big increase in skill from the 10 to 20$ level. On sites that have 5+1's you'll notice that the 10+1's are filled with uber loose donks, while the 22s have a mix of weak tighties and fish.

imo, isnt much of a skill gap from the 11's to 55's on party

55's to 109's is a big skill gap though, requires sng pt to beat according to a reliable source.
