Default Anyone else ever seen this?

I am playing .25/.50 NLHE on Party Poker and the guy sitting to my left, SADOMAZA, is sitting out every time the blinds get to him, then returns and posts the small and big blinds from the cutoff. Is there any actual advantage to doing this?

Giving up 2 hands which you are paying for can have no advantage.

In the BB if the pot is unraised you are getting infinite odds on your hand. You could see these 2 hands and say I will only play AA/KK preflop and if I get a free view from BB I will fold anything less than than the nuts to any bet . This has higher expectation than never seeing the cards.

This is actually an advantage to you
It tells you this guy has no clue about math and is very cheap
If he is in a hand you can probably bet him off of it, as he will be afraid to lose his winnings
