I did play with it for a bit, that's how I knew how to import my HHs. lol.
I only play NLHE on Stars, ring games, SnGs and MTTs.

I understand what the stats are and how to interpret them. I guess I'm just looking for tips on how to use this information to develop my game. What kind of leaks should I be looking for? Which stats do you find the most important?

Here's a few ideas maybe to get you started...

Take a look at your starting hands, which ones are profitable, which ones aren't, including anyones you thought might be but really aren't, etc.

You can also evaluate them by position some might be more profitable in some positions but not others. Also consider how you're playing from different positons, are you cold calling a lot of PF raises.

Look at your own game, are you playing a lot of hands, taking them too far, etc.

Also get GT+ and use it whle you're playing, it'll give you a better understaing of how your opponents play.

Those are just a few suggestions I'm sure others will have more.

Don't do anything with PT until you have some true data on your play......just play your game for a few thousand hands or so then take a peek.

Definitiely get GT+ and begin using the real time data on your opponents trends. This will improve your win rate immediately when you recognize that this guy never bets and suddenly he's raising you???????? He's got the nuts. Or you see his aggro factor is through the roof, yet he folds at first signs of resistance...etc, etc.

I have about 3500 hands now in PT and find a lot of the data useful, but its tough to try to figure out if hands are winners or losers without much larger sample sizes.

you can have stars save HHs to your hard drive. very easy.

I use it to track my profitablility. If that starts slipping, I look at my VPIP and make sure I am not playing too loose. I also examine hands to see where the money is going.

I play back a lot of hands.

Then I look at WtSD and W%SD.

Use GT+ and PokerACEHUD for NL and limit holdem too.

I know we have had a lot of good threads on this, but searches will bring up a lot of clutter, but give it a try.....

WOW that's really helpful I started using PT again (since I had bought it anyways)

Really useful to track winning hands and winning ring games, not sure what confused me when I first used it. Now after importing all recent hands the stats seem to make sense.

the Position stats are just awesome!
