Mah! One of my favorite topics....
My numbers have shown that my Standard Deviation per 100 hands goes down with each additional table I add. Probably due to a reduction in FPS that seems to strike me when I get bored.
300bb is based on a winning player that has a WR of 3bb/100 and a SD of 20bb/100. Using the bankroll equation (
bad streaks and profiatble tables) you can figure out your BR reqs by pluggng that in. Mine jumps between 180-210 bb because of my slightly higher WR and lower SD, but I still try to play within the 300 bb bubbles for added safety. But as I said my BR reqs slowly decrease with each table I add ( to a point), and I have actually reached a point (usually 8 tables) That my bankroll reqs are LESS than the total amount needed to actually buy-in to the games (30 bb buy-in).
I don't make any BR adjustments because of this, but I possible could. It's just a neat thing I noticed. I stay within the prescribed limits of my BR to give an added safety margin. Playing with this added safety allows me to stay at my current level if I get slammed with a bad run, whereas pushing the edge would force me to step down to stay safe. That though is a personal choice.
