Button raises in this situation as a bluff, this is bad etiquette right?

You could make a case that he's made a great play as he was better than the allin short stack.

If he was ahead preflop and had a decent read on you and the other guy (which given this hand as an example seems likely) then with that ragged flop it is entirely possible he is still ahead and can push you out and take the pot as it stands, with likely outs if he's behind.

Yes it's betting into a dry sidepot, but it's not a flat out bluff.


By the way, what was the thinking calling with 22 given that you were planning to see the river?

look at the pot.. i would be dumb to fold that preflop with all those bets and calls preflop

Pates, you call an all in that is 1/4 of your stack with pocket 2s, even after 2 people ahead of you called.

pates, what hands do you think CO will push with, seeing as he is a shortstack, and the calling range the button and SB?

I'm interested to hear this.

I'm assuming he thinks he has implied odds to play for trips, rather than the odds of the 2's holding up.
