There. That feels much better. Just what the Dr. ordered.
In all honesty this has been a run with some very marginal cards. Some hands I may have taken a bit too far, trying to force things. Tough to resist that temptation.
When I have had a hand, I've run into a monster...example: AK preflop, raised, cold called by button. Flop KKQ. Raising war.....he shows down KQ. I probably should have slowed down at some point, but I just refused to believe I was beat with my best hand in days.
Another time I flopped trips and lost to a straight on river......my own fault for slowplaying the flop. I could have made it two to the guy who drew out on me on a gutshot, but he was such a fish he was calling two anyway.
The hand Pok posted earlier with a wk
pr and 4 players is very indiciative ofthe types of spots I've been in a lot lately. I have been playing my marginal hands to weakly, and overplaying my good ones in the face of resistance. I think it's all a prouct of the swing getting into my head.
I need to start fresh and forget about this past week.
This run has knocked me down to 1.5 BB/100 at 25/.50 after running about 10BB/100 for first 1000 at level.
Overall its taken me from 7 to 4.5.
The next good run is right around the corner.
Deal the cards.
