I'm thinking I might want to start donking around with something other than hold em to mix things up a occasionally. I was playing a little stud 8 after finishing my Party bonus, and was considering getting a little more into the game.

Can anybody recomend some good books on the game, only books I have so far are all hold em books. On amazon I saw a book by Ray Zee that was "Advanced Stud 8 and O8"...but I'm not really advanced.

I think Tood Bronson's chapter in SS2 is the best place to starts.

I don't own either Super System books yet, I'm guessing if I get SS2 I really don't need 1 right?

SS1 is pretty outdated and Doyles NL section is exactly the same - so, no, you don't need it.

I think I liked Hellmuth's stuff on Stud 8. Since there isn't a lot of good stuff out there, it's as good as any I guess.
