Default Whats with the guys on Two Plus Two?

In my thrist for some hand analysis for micro limit hold 'em I have been perusing the threads over on Two Plus Two. I have to admit, there is a wealth of hands available for analysis......more than we seem to post, but I just can't deal with the advice being given.

Is it me, or are these people suffering from paralysis by analysis. They all seem to be so weak tight in their recommendations that I think they are screwing up my game.

Every situation they seem to suggest passively calling down because some godforsaken calculation shows that you may lose 1/4 bet in the long run if your opponent has you beat. I just don't get it. I read SSH and it seems to me that these supposed Miller junkies are a bunch of TAP's who are just waiting around for a suckout.......

I've never read 2+2 regularly. When I first started searching the web for a decent forum I read some articles and such. I still go back for the occasional article there but their (IMHO) forums really suck...

As far as being TAP. I don't think I've ever read one of their analysis of HH so I couldn't say for sure. As far as Micro-Limit HE goes, I feel I have a pretty good grasp of the game (far better then my grasp of NLHE or tournament play which I'm just now taking the time to learn properly) and I know that there are many others here that give better advice then me. I would recommend that you post some of your own HHs here and stick with the good guys

As far as them posting more HH's, they are a much bigger site (The community is what really drew me to this place) and so therefore are going to have many more players at each limit willing to post HHs. I say stick with the guys you can trust...

Oh...don't get me wrong. PFO is my poker home. No desire to go elsewhere. I simply have been scanning there to read some HH's. I still have a problem posting my own because I still cannot figure out how to get the hand histories to work from Poker Tracker (through Bisons) and I dont save the originals from Poker Stars for very long.

I never noticed them being overly weak-tight. weak-tight usually gets crucified on 2+2.

maybe they need to read SSH again.

there is a lot of noise on there, but there are also so VERY good posters. better than anyone you will find here. but they don't post that often anymore.

I dont know. Maybe it's just my newness to limit. But everytime I thought you should bet they were saying check call and ultimately fold the river. It just seems so passive to me. Maybe they are correct, because my WSD% is still running high. Maybe I need to fold a few more hands. I'll give them another chance.

It would be nice if we had some more limit hands to analyze on here. I feel like I am cheating on kid when I go there.

for micro limits, i would suggest playing tight passive. or weak tight. in some situations tight agressive (like if your in late position and the pot has not been opened).

i think many TAG players piss alot of money away w/ hands b/c they dont expect ppl calling with bad hands.

Tight Hyper aggressive is what you want for the micros. They leave so much dead money in the pot that you want to squeeze out every penny out of them. The sucks out will never come close to the extra bets earned over the long run.

If you want some decent analysis. Do what I do, Pick a session, and from that session, pick 5-10 hands that were notable, not super off the wall, but common hands that you went "hmmm...." on, and post them here.

2+2 is a huge site and they have alot of different posters in all their forums. Their most vocal group is the "elitist" know-it-alls who just love to hear themselves talk. It doesn't matter if you said you limped with pocket aces or raised with pocket aces, some of them will bash you for your play, your question, and your hair color.lol Then there are some awesome posters who are SUPER smart and SUPER poker players. No offense to this site but they do seem to have alot of very knowledgable, skilled veterans of the game, especially when it comes to live casino poker.

So it's a wash for me. Jerks and the real experts. I tried to wade thru the crap and find the good!
