Is that the one on the Indian Preservation?
I'm sure it is, and I have been there, and the best word to describe this place is, GIGANTIC! Its really really big, we had to take a trolley bus from the parking lot to the casino. But its all good, there are countless table games and slots. Unfortunately, when I went, I still wasn't hooked on holdem, so I didnt even see the poker room. But if its anything like the main floor, then it'll be fantastic. Lots of open space between tables, there was a Keno bar too. (If your into that). The seating is spaceous. I remember playing a full roulette table for a couple hours without having any elbow bumpage...

It is huge. They're building a new poker room that will support 120(?) tables. I think WPT is sponsoring them. If you go during peak hours you can wait a very long time to get a seat.
Mohegan Sun, which is also down your way, does not have Poker tables. They just have the fake hold'em tables where you play against the dealer.

It's my understanding that the new poker room is finished and already open.
I gotta get down to Foxwoods at some point - it's so close, but I've never been.

I've been to Foxwoods several times, unfortunaly not within the last 4 yrs, and it's driving me crazy. Foxwoods is a GREAT place. Everyone should visit at least once if they are able.

I'm a regular there....or at least as regular as a 3 hour drive affords me which is about once a month.
It's the only game in town so it is very busy, especially on the weekends. If you are going to play on the weekends, show up real early to beat the crowd or expect a couple hour wait and maybe more at the lower limits. Also the wait thins out around dinner time so if you are on the list at that time don't leave cause once they call your name and you don't respond you are SOL.
One recent trend I don't like is that they are spreading more NL games and less of my game which is 10/20 or 20/40. But, you gotta meet demand and thats what everyone wants to play!!! They still do spread a bunch of stud table as stud used to be king at Foxwoods.
The comps are horrible compared to Vegas as there is no competition. 1 point for every hour at a 10/20 and higher and a half a point for anything below 10/20.
All in all it is still one of my favorite places to play as you can't hear slot machines and most of the dealers are great. Actually, most of the dealers keep the game moving well compared to other places I've played. Last call for booze is 1am so the games tend to tighten up in the wee morning as players get more sober and tired.
One of the more interesting sites to watch all the old scavengers from the stud tables mob the bagel and muffin spread when they bring it out at 6am.
Have fun!!!!
