Default Absoloute Poker Bonuses

I've thought I've heard (here, I thought) that bonuses are hard to clear at any level below 2/4. I'm looking at the reqs through PSO and it looks like you get a "raked hand" for any pot where is raked .50. Wouldn't most pots at .5/1 be raked that much, and virtually ALL hands at 1/2?

At 400 raked hands for the PFO bonus, that doesn't sound that hard. Am I missing something?

no, the site is tight, but you can clear ok at 1/2.

This is probably a painstakingly obvious point to most people.

If an NL and Limit table both have an average pot of $10, then probably on the limit table a greater majority of hands will actually be at or above this average.

On NL you will have several small pots interspersed with the occasional big hand.

Therefore when on a Rakeback deal/clearing a bonus on contributed rake it doesn't matter what you play, but if you have to play x raked hands Limit would be better?

Therefore I would be better off clearing Absolute bonus playing Limit?

I stay away from AP after they changed the point and rake structure. Theres a reason they are offering almost daily reload bonuses. The traffic is horrible and its tough to clear a bonus there.

I'm eyeballing the 6000pt PSO bonus with Gaming club (Just cleared the River Bell Bonus, so I know what I'm getting into with Prima). I was just wondering if the pts are the way to go, and Can I get $ bonuses within the site itself?

Points are the way to go - you can use them for "gift certificates" (cash basically) at Party or AP. Only drawback is you need to clear a couple sites to get enough points.

BTW - if you haven't signed up yet and are looking for a referral: PICK ME, PICK ME!!!

Not sure what your asking Marm. I am just doing Gaming Club, you get a $50 deposit bonus with the site as usual. Poker Rewards is also good. You get an extra $10 from the site as well as your deposit bonus for Raked Hands through your site and your PSO bonus.

PSO points seems best to me - save up and get the $ through Party.

Absolute poker is a tough site, because it is full of really tight players. The players are better than stars/party and about in the same league as Crypto/Prima players. The rake is the same as Ultimatebet and the Cryptos, so it sucks at .5/1 and 2/4-3/6. The bonus is very tough to clear at .5/1, but the points accumulate fairly quickly at 1/2, you'll see about 40 hands/100 that reach 10$.

If you play at Absolute rakeback is what you need, since the bonuses which at the moment are bottomless stack with the RB. There are some really good RB deals out there now, I know PSO has 32% RB which is better than the deal I have through Rake the Rake.

With RB and bonii, you are more than playing rakefree at 1/2 full, and from the 2/4 LO8 I play there you'll usually get close to 100% RB.

Points are the best value from PSO, unless you want the nevada jacks, they're worth about 150$, the upgrade points are worth 90$ and the regular points 60$.
