Default What would you do? The devil you don't know..

I went into the University cafe today

Some students were there. They'd opened up a game of Holdem (NL) -geeze what has the UK University system become.

I passed by - I teach them - they said: " Hey Bob fancy a game of No -Limit poker" ( they don't know what I do at nights)

I thought ho -hum.. " What are the blinds guys?"

"oh.. ha... 1/2p (about 0.02/0.04) cents No limit"... £5 buy in...

"Sorry guys - I only play $1/$2 and above live..."

They laughed.......

I would have sat down pretended I didn't even know how to post my blind, lost $20 by playing like an ass, and then acted all disgruntled and want to increase the stakes.

Everyone that I work with knows I am a poker fanatic, and yet they still come to the live cash games I host on friday nights. I just try not to win too much to attract attention. So far nobody realizes that I have never left down.
