Default Limit

I've decided to give limit holdem a go, the only ring games around where I live a limit (and I hear they're juicy). I played for about 4 hours last night, I saved a buttload of hands. Before I go posting, are there any general adjustments I'll need to make going from NL to Limit? Also what types of hands/situations are common pitfalls, I'm sure I'll have some examples of what not to do.

But I'll start with one I know I donked hard, I'm still trying to figure out where aggression fits in limit.

Full Tilt Poker
Limit Holdem Ring game
Limit: $0.25/$0.5
9 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
Hero: $21.80
UTG+1: $18.75
MP1: $23.30
MP2: $2.75
MP3: $3.75
CO: $6.90
Button: $4.25
SB: $22.70
BB: $2.40

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is UTG with
Hero calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls, BB checks.

Flop: (8SB, 8 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 raises, 6 folds, Hero 3-bets, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (7BB, 2 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 raises, Hero calls.

River: (11BB, 2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero calls.

Results:
Final pot: 13BB
UTG+1 showed Qs Jh
Hero mucks Ts Jd

And I'll say it before anyone else does - fold pf.

I'll agree by saying yes to folding it PF. Flop play was good. I like to check-raise that turn. and bet the river.

I play this pretty much identically, aside from PF . I Probably check/call the turn though.

We don't have equity enough to be getting aggressive on the later streets. At this level, all we're trying to beat here is a bluff. Our kicker is not that strong, strong enough to call down, but not strong enough to be taking the lead in the hand.

At the higher games, this type of play will get you eaten up, but at the SSH games, calling down here is a value play given the possible hand holdings of the average .25/.50 player.

Go get SSH and read that. It will help you more than anything else.

for limit, play really tight pf. If someone caps pf it usually means they have AA KK QQ or AK. Play suited connectors and AXs when u have position. Cap the flop whenever u have top pair or better. If someone turn raises you, that usually means they have 2pair or better. If someone raises river, it usually means they have TPTK beat. Always bet out on the flop when u have a FD.

Tight, but aggressive. Also don't get to concerned with fancy play. Straight forward play, and good value betting, aim for it.

Getting hard reraised like that means to me that he has at least top pair, and probably a better kicker than that ten.
