Default What do they base these on?

I only play at PS for the time being, but I'm sure they probably give the stats out at all the sites for each table and there Avg Pot Size and % to flop. Is it published anywhere what they base these on? Last X amount of hands or X minutes of play or whatever?

Because just by going to a table and reviewing the pot sizes for the last 4 or 5 hands you can see, I rarely see any real correlation with the numbers on the index of tables. So I guess they must be taking many more hands than that into account or the numbers are complete BS.

30 minutes worth of play ish.... something like that.. dunno specifics.... and you can't base any judgements on a table in 4 or 5 hands.. you really need at least 20 before you make any assumptions.

I was always under the assumption that being they also show the average hands per hour that they based it on hourly play.

you can take 3 minutes worth of data and correlate it to a per hr stat...I doubt the /hr stat indicates anything on the sample time range.

I agree, there seems to be very little correlation.

Some of my favorites.

Paradise - 9/10 players at the table, 50% VPIP. Open up the table and it is empty.

All sites - 9/10 players at the table 60% VPIP, open up the table, 5 people are sitting out and every pot is blind vs blind.
