Default My first week playing 'sensibly'

Right so as some of you might know last week i decided to withdraw my whole bankroll from paradise and see how i could do building my bankroll from 10$ properly (kinda). So i hit the 1/2 cent tables with 10 dollars underolled yes, but i only put in 1 dollar to the tables to start off with, The first day i played i was blessed with a very lucky hand. I had nut flush and two others had flushes and one person had 3 of a kind, as you can imagine that at a 1/2 cent table things went abit crazy with this however my nutflush held and i picked up 10 dollar pot for my troubles. Now great i have a 20 dollar roll so im playing 1/2 cent thats 1000 BB which is basically properly rolled for the limits.

The continueing days i continued to grind out the NL game with 1/2cent and after taking wednesday off (for the pub quiz) and friday and saterday off. I am now on 48 dollars and still grinding out these limits. I have only played around 2/3 hours a day and i do not believe that i have been blessed with too much unusual luck other than the 3 flush thing.

Basically im writing this post to show all you low limit players that get frustrated playing such low limits that it is posible to make good money from the lower limits building your bankroll. I would say that the most important part of the lower limits is remembering to be patient people will pay off your better hands when you get them. Also call with hands with potential, flopping the nuts almost always gets payed off suited connecters and such are very profitable. Position does not matter as much but you have to be aware of your fellow players around you i.e agressive tight ect. The players sitting behind 11 dollar stacks in 1/2cent are usually VERY tight so watch out if there calling/betting out against you.

What next? Well when i hit 80 dollars im going to start buying in 4 dollars to 5/10cent tables using chris fergasons bankroll technique of 5% of your BR then leaving when you have 10%. Neways if anyone has any advice they could tell me about building my bankroll and moving threw limits ect like when i might hit a wall or when standard of play rises dramatically please feel free because all of your advice is welcome!

Ps: previous to this week ive been playing underolled and go on huge swings up and down!

First off: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paragraph

Umm, well my advice is go ahead and play 5/10cent if your comfortable doing so. I wouldn't try it with that BR, but go ahead. If you sink below 40 go back to 1c/2c okay?

I'm not really a cash player so my advice should be taken with a shovel of salt.

Good luck man. Just be sure to know your limits and take Chris Ferguson's advice and you should be okay.
I think I'm going to do something similiar.

I have built my bank roll up from <$20 twice within the last 16 months. First cashed out and went to the bahamas, this time looking to do the same, but leaving me a decent bank. I believe I have over 15k hands at the woolworth tables (5 and dime?) from these two runs.

I built my bank from $0 to more than $80.

Life's tough out there for a freeroller like me...

I went down to $180 just after Xmas (cashed out down to $700 then went on a dodgy run). Currently just under $3000 thanks to the new party SnG structure.

well i plan on cashing out when i hit 2k PLus, need some money for summer! still running okay on about 50 dollars, by next week i recon i can get to 100ish, paradise players are the worst i swear. Then i get to move up to my normal limit 5/10 but this time playing properly. played abit of 10 20 in my life but i think when i rise above thous limits to 25/50 (this is all cent) im going to encounter some problems, any tips on handling 25/50 by any chance?
