Question Best strategy for maximizing profit

Hi. i play online poker for a few years and i have tried all different type of tables but i have a question.I play in pokerstars nl holdem. If i play cash games 1 or 2 6max tables i can observe the way that my opponents play and that helps but if i play more tables at a time i wont get bored and in theory i have chance to win more but i cant observe that many players. Also i play mostly cash games cause i dont really like playing 6-8 hours on big tournaments and i dont really like s&g cause blinds go up and after some time everyone is trying to steal the blinds. So sould i keep playing 1 or 2 6max cash games or play more or 2 tables at zoom games and just playing really tight? And should i start playing s&g?Are they good at all? Thanks

Older thread this but thought would put in my 2 cents. I think the idea of playing really tight in 6 max zoom cash has an issue of the blinds coming through you more often but you may get more payoff when you do have a hand as the games are less nitty than the full ring games. I know for a fact that being a nitty in full ring zoom does work pretty well. You will not MAXIMISE profits playing nit-style at zoom but because you will make a steady albut low winrate over a large number of hands it is a reasonable option. Also because blinds are through you less you lose out this way much less.

I have noticed at zoom that three betting in the blinds and raising the blinds from late is very profitable, most people know its a steal but couldn't care less. Also as people tick the fast fold box you can get away with min raising the blinds. It is also worth keeping an eye on the different avatars if you can as you will slowly pick up some tendancies and can get good cash making info but be careful as such tendancies are hidden well at Zoom.
As for SNGs I know these to be high variance but don't play them myself. Of course in an sng lots of stealing and stacking off light based on stack sizes position and how far advanced the tournament is occurs and there are courses you can take to learn the optimum strategy for this.
Being nitty at zoom cash or juicy side games is the lowest variance startegy you want cash games with high stats for player per flop hnds hour etc. I would say there are a lot more fishy players at the side games than on zoom but zoom makes up for this a bit by allowing you to play more hands. If you want to maximise profits though you have to open up your range a bit more and really get to know the other players and what they are capable of, this will allow you to run more succesful bluffs and three bets vs them which all adds to your profits and reduces variance. However I would start nitty and open up from there.
