    Default Electronic poker table question

I know this is an odd post but I wanted to get an opinion from you all. I have a guy that is designing a MTT virtual table setup for my poker tour I'm starting up, mainly for those casinos who don't have a poker room, and I thought of something after I read about the Poker-Tek debacle at the Excalibur.

My question to you guys is this, if you had an opportunity to play on an electronic table, a hybrid so to speak, that the only thing it did was deal out the cards, shuffle the decks, cut the decks, and the player only has a button to fold his hand. On this hybrid table, you would still have actual chips and betting would be the same with the dealer only having buttons to deal the flop, turn and river, plus buttons to shuffle, cut, and deal a new hand, all at once.

This would eliminate a lot of dealer and player errors and still speed up the game, letting you play more hands per hour while still keeping the allure of a real live table we all know a love to play on. A version for home games would have the dealer position rotate around the table to each player after each hand. Would you have more of an interest in playing on a table like this or a fully electronic table? Any thoughts?

Actually, I wouldn't mind a fully electronic table if it meant being able to play at a lower limit live then then usual $1/$2, like 25c/50c at a lowered rake. I would expect a lower rake since you get more hands/hour as well as no dealer to pay.

That said the setup you gave isn't bad either, since you're able to get in more hands/hour. I just worry about accidents or people pushing other peoples buttons
