Thanks to Gorgeous, I'm trying a little experiment. Registered for 5 $1 TURBO Double or nothing SNG's. I will sit out all 5. We'll see how they go.

Sitting out won't really work. I've played on tables that had REALLY tight players. On those tables you certainly won't cash. I wouldn't advise it honestly. Play a straight game and you'll be good. I usually have a 3:4 win ratio which kinda sucks. I'm a love hate for the DoNs, bubbling KILLS your profit margins.
Edit- Just played 4 and knocked out of three.....pretty much card dead and then bad beat 99 vs AQ, Ace on flop on cue like usual! I hate pstars with a passion. I should really stop playing there honestly.Last edited by Jarr3tt88; February 5th, 2011 at 07:21 AM.

Well.... In hindsight I had my logic backwards. I thought the TURBO's would kill the bad players off quicker. nrrrrmp! wrong. 3 7th's and 2 6th's for me. I'm tempted to try it again later using the regular speed ones. The blinds just escalated too quick in the turbos

Even big stacks won't gamble once 6 handed with a sit-out , they'll just wait until you're out . No chance this will work to a +EV , maybe it's a good idea to tighten (it's usually tight , I mean extra-tight like AKs JJ+) your game in the early stages but once shorstacked you really need to push those buttons/sb's to make the money .

If you can double early, get to about 3-4K in chips then sitting out is a valid option. Otherwise you will always bust.

That doesn't work either lol I doubled up within 3 hands KK vs Q7 (flopped a set, K Q x rainbow so I let him catch up) turn a 7, I was nearly knocked out had >300chips left....crazy. I didn't play many hands, I got AA late guy min raised to 600 I went all in 1300 and he folded lol

If you were just going to try sitting out, I would figure Turbo would be worse for you, not better.
