What does players per flop mean and table selection

So currently, when i'm picking tables, i'm just going in to the PS lobby and sort by highest players/flop column, and join or wait

list when I can. I've been noticing it doesn't really mean looser players. What does the stat actually mean?? And is there a better

way to table select? Not including going through table by table and watch everyone play for a round or 2.
