Rules of blackjack for the dealer, he must make an attack on 16 or below and stand on 17 or above. If he passes 21, he then went bankrupt.

If you follow these same rules, you have the same chance as the dealer for any of the total. If you have the same total amount, you do not win or lose their money. This is known as the stand off. If you have a higher total than the dealer, you win, or a lower total amount that you lose.

So, where casinos make their money, or how they get "home advantage", is the fact that you play your hand before the dealer. So, if you both go to 21 (or depression), the dealer still wins your money.

This was calculated using the statistics of probability, that the chance of a dealer, a bankrupt, is 28%. If you follow the same rules as the dealer, you also have a 28% chance "to go bankrupt." Chance to both of you "fail" on the same hand is 28% x 28% = 7.84%. This - an advantage at home. However, you become a money paid 3-2 for a natural blackjack, while the dealer receives even money, thus reducing the house advantage to 5.9%.

What this means - that if you bet $ 100, then you would expect to lose $ 5.90.

I think you can call yourself a pro when your sole income is from poker and you file your taxes as 'Professional Poker Player'.
