Hi there,
have to tell you a bad expereance i had with pokerstars. i created a acount for a friend as he wanted to start playing online.after he made a first payment of 100€ with his visacard he had his first game. after that game the acount was frozen. ps sended a mail that they want.
-fotoID
-scan passport 2 sites
-a prove for the right adress ( water or e-bill from the last 3 month)
-a scan from the VISACARD!!!!! (they alowed to blank the last three digits.
we followed all the steps the next day and we got an answer that they now would need the last bill from visa ?!! comon -this is ridicolouse.
if i sended all this dokument what is now the visabill for .feel really bad that i advised my friend to pokerstars.
did this already happened to one of you???

Did you create 2 different accounts from the same computer or IP address?

If you created 2 different accounts from the same computer using the same IP address as KnightofNarg is pointing to, they're not going to be happy. Your're not allowed to have multiple accounts on most sites including PokerStars.
You shouldn't have any problems with PS because your in Europe. Unlike all the stuff we have to contend with here in America.
Why would you create an account for your friend? Is he without a computer?

You just have to prove you're two different people. Many poker couples have jump through the same hoops to play.

From my experiences, pokerstars dont give a crap about the same IP address as long as you prove you're two completely different individuals.
FullTilt on the other hand, you cannot have it under the same IP under any circumstance.

This sounds like the troubles Full Tilt gave me on first cash out... I think it took me 2 months for them to approve a withdraw. They kept declining the documents that I sent them. But that was a long time ago back in the days that I played online poker...

yes - i didnt created my acount on that ip ,but i played on it lately as its an apartmentblock and we share the internet . but one question :
why not asking before allowing a payment and then after we fullfilled every step they asked us for (even a scan of the visacard) they ask the visabill from last month? they never asked for that in the first mail. they got already the Passport, the waterbill for the adress and the copy of the visacard.i dont blame them that they try to stop colussion , but i think its taking it a step to far. ty for the response ;-)
