    Default Folded 10 10

Folded 10 10 last night to the chip leader and he never shown his cards when i folded, not sure if i made the right play. Was down to the last 5 and assured of £300, top prize was £1900. I was 2nd in chips and had 10 10 utg, raised 3 x blind and chip leader pushed all in. Gave the call some serious thought and folded, still in 2nd position after the fold but still went out in 5th , really bugging me if i made the correst fold. Put him on jj or a big ace didnt fancy a race while i still had a good stack, what do you reckon, good fold or not? He was a tight player, dont think her 3 bet light as i had a tight image as well, wouldnt raise utg with rubbish.

I suppose you will never find out. Personally I would have called however TT isn't an extremely strong hand, it was probably best to play safe.

Good Fold imo. Not about to take on the chip leader allin with a marginal hand with a tight read. There's too much at risk right now to take chances. Pretty sure icm would agree with me.

Well, if you put him on JJ or better and he's tight, it was a good fold.

It all comes down to reads and the particular players image at the table...
I mean, i've folded QQ pre flop instantly in cash game before simply because I was sooooo convinced he had AA.
It went, I straddle to like £16. he made it £41 UTG gets 4 callers... I made it like £150 or something, he instantly grabs a handfull of hundred chips and chucked them in without counting. came round to me and i turned over QQ instant muck, he asked me if i called.. I said no I fold and he turned over AA.

heres a tip if you ever want to see a players cards... ask to see just one, he will 7/10 times let you pick one to look at, unless he was bluffing you #
