Hi
I am new to odds calculations, hence this might be a stupid question, but what the heck!
If I am using an odds calculator for texas holdem and I am 1 of a 10 player game, so pre-deal I set the software to 10 players, then I tell it my pocket cards, then when my turn comes to bet pre-flop, I put the pot value in. (ignore implied pot odds for the example).
1. At this point should I change the number players to the number that are still in the hand eg if 2 players have folded before my turn to bet, should I change the number of players to 8?
2. Likewise when it comes to the flop first round of betting and it's my turn to bet and I put the pot value in and the flop cards, should I also change the number of players still in the hand?
3. Now we are on the second round of betting on the flop, and more players have folded and its my turn again, so I adjust the pot value, should I also reduce the number of players?
Thanks in advance for any help.
