About LinkBacksSo I had J-Q, the guy next to me has 8-9, another guy has an Ace.
At the river the table cards are K-K-K-K-* (I can't remember what the other card was)
There is the main pot, and a side pot.
The guy with the Ace wins the main pot, but is not eligable for the side pot; the guy next to me with the 8-9 gets it, and I loose.
How is that so?
Surely, with the J kicker, I win the side pot....???

This was on PartyPoker, and i'm struggling to accept the game simply cheated me..... I can't think what could have happened. I had the higher kicker, no matter what the other card on the table was, I should have won it.

unless it was a side pot you weren't entitled to and it was just the smaller hand getting his money back...

ya u had to not be eligible for the sidepot and if you were i am SURE party will give u your money back, bugs do happen, i doubt they "cheated you"

The ace gets the main pot you get the side pot deal with it
