Default Rakeback? Help me understand this....

Ok. I play full time, (when I play, not at that level yet, lol), at Full Tilt and FeltStars. I play more than enough that rakeback would definately be profitable. The problem is....I don't really understand it!

From what I gather, a percentage of the rake I pay is put back into my account. I keep seeing advertisements for promotions for this, the problem is I already have the software installed and already have an account. How can I sign up somewhere for rakeback with already having this?

Also, is it really safe to use rakeback? I assume the third party gives you a percentage of your rake back by depositing into your account, and they also keep a percentage. Do they need my account information or somehting to do this? Is there ANY way this will cost me any money?

    Thanks in advance guys.

Just to let you know, I now see HOW much rake cuts into my profits. For example, I played 12 games this morning. 1.00 + .20 (that is 20 DAMN percent) buy-ins for Sit n Go's, (9 man). I placed 1st 16.7%, 2nd 16.7%, 3rd 16.7%, 4th 25%, 7th 16.7%, and 8th 8.3%. I made the money 50% of the time, and have a ROI of 25% over these games. I profited 3.60, but here comes the kicker.

I paid 2.40 in rake fees. (This is after factoring in the profit. I came out with an actual 3.60 in profit, AFTER fees were paid, but still....)

SIXTY-SIX PERCENT of what I profited was reflected in what I PAID OUT in fees. This is absurd, and convices me that Full Tilt is in cahoots with the Gambino crime family, lmao.

There has got to be a way to cut this loss down. I know that moving up higher will drop the rake%, but right now my bankroll doesn't allow it.

Yes, the rakeback provider keeps a percentage and pays you a percentage.

I can't remember completely, but I'm pretty sure FT won't allow you to switch over to rakeback once you already have a non rakeback account. I remember people signing up accounts in their mom's, girlfriends, etc name to get rakeback.

You should email support@fulltilt and ask them if you can start earning rakeback. Theuy will either say yes or now. If they say yes they will set you up with 'rakebackpros'

Key question to ask them is if you're tied to an affiliate, if not, you got a shot

    Never heard of feltstars though

Sign up at RakeBackPros and they will get back to you if you are eligible for RB .

To review if you are eligible to receive rakeback, please sign up at RakeBackPros and select “NO” when asked“Did you use the referral code RAKEBACKPROS when you created your Full Tilt Poker account?” We’ll then review your request and let you know if we can offer you rakeback.
As for felt stars , you could sign up for rakeback with another site on the merge network . It will be a different skin , same players and mostly the same promotions/races . Merge RB - Bluffroom Rakeback
