Free stat tracking program?

As the title says i am curious if there are any free stat tracking programs you guys would recommend

Programs such as Hold'em Manager seem like they could definitely help me analyze myself and other players better, however i have no money (great for a poker player i know)

Started my bankroll with freerolls and working on the micro's now but i would feel a lot more comfortable with a stat tracker of some type

if this is in the wrong area i am sorry didn't see one that i felt it would fit into better feel free to move

PT3 has a 60 day trial. You should be able to save up enough to buy the micro version ($40ish) by the time that expires.

You don't NEED a tracker at the micros, but it helps.

yeah i realize its not needed but i figure if your gonna start collecting data might as well start sooner than later.

so thats a no on anything free though.

There is a program called fpdb, but i can't really get it to work very well. However, it might be because i'm running PartyPoker, and support for FTP and stars is supposed to be better.

PT3 is IMO the best tracker out there. I was actively involved (volunteer) in their customer support aspect (I was just a nut on the forums is all), years ago when PT2 was out.

Go download it, try it out.

Most of these tracking programs are worth buying for two reasons

1) They work, at least the good ones do.

2) They are made by players like us. They usually aren't some product of software factories. Pokertracker was originally written by a dude named Pat, from (fucking) Spittsburgh. Now there seems to be about a half dozen guys working on it, and is actually the sum of two separate programs that have been successfully merged (PT & PAHUD).

3) And they regulary update the program, which is required to stay current with the poker sites. That's why you can't pirate this, as it will be broken by the next update, which is required to play.

I agree with Marm about PT3. You can get out of it anything you can think of to ask it.

I use HoldemManager personally, and have the trial of PT3 also. Personally, I like holdem Manager better, it is WAY easier to use. I only play micro stakes, and the most I use it for is graphing, ROI%, and tracking playstyles of my opponents, (which I haven't really learned how to do yet). PT3 is WAY too complicated, I swear you need a degree in MetaPhysics to use it, lol.

Yeah, I actually like holdem manager, and it's a solid investment. But PT3 has all those extra options I'm missing out on.
