Ok, I have spotted one of the weaknesses in my game, mainly in no limit, and it is proper bet sizing in relation to pot odds. I play limit for the most part, but all tournaments and some sit and go's I play are no limit. I have a hard time reading up on articles because they use ratio figures, while I use percentage figures in correspondence to the size of the contribution to the pot I am making based off draw odds. I can do quick math like 4:1 pot odds being 25%, but the rest is just too much when in the process of memorizing what my draw odds are corresponding to the number of outs I have. I am also learning how to ount outs really fast, (any tips here would be greatly appreciated), and with playing online, that is just too much to do in the 15 seconds we get. Also, keep in mind, I have the "call" part down with pot odds and draw odds, its just the raising I need help with.
Here is an example, from last night in a NL tournament. I draw pocket KK on the button. It comes around, only called or folded, and I make a standard 3x BB raise. Blinds are 30/60 I think, so I raise to 180. I get two calls, so three of us are left. The flop comes out 9 A K, so I am pretty sure this is mine at this point, considering the rest of the table limped. It gets checked to me, and now is my time to draw as much equity out of the pot that I can. A mistake I am already aware of that people make is the "ALL IN" at this point, scaring off the other two and coming out of the hand with a small pot when they KNOW they have it. So not really knowing what to do in this situation, I do what I have done in the past. I make a continuation bet, this time 4x the BB, so 240. I know that optimally, you want to be able to keep your OPPONENTS in "pot odds" for them to call your bet, so how do I do this? Any help, tips, math strategies, (optimally using percentages rather than ratios), or links to good articles would be appreciated. Also, keep in mind, as far as limit goes, I am fine there. The way I do that is by limping the flop bet so I can get the big bet money on the turn/river.

When you bet in no limit you bet a percentage of the current pot, usually 50%-100%. You actually want to give people incorrect pot odds as in NL has much more implied odds. Though when you flop such a strong hand such as KK on a AK9r, you main goal is set yourself up to get stacks in by the river.
When raising another players bet, you want to give them about 2:1 odds to call. So if they bet 50 into a pot of 100, you'll be raising about 250 to give him 2:1 odds, of course you can raise more or less as the situation calls for.
Biggest focus I always tell people is that when you valuebet, you want your equity to be >50% against your opponents calling rage.

Knight hit it right on the head because if you start giving 3:1 odds or higher the chances are much greater for the other two players to call with straight or flush draw possibilities and even those with weak A's.
