Im a profitable 100nl player and at start of last year went through a -1bb/100 over 120k hands (thankfully rakeback made me profitable) therefore always expect the unexpected and always realise that your game isnt perfect and you are not as good as you think you are. Always keep working at your game, doing hand history reviews and reading forums and watching training videos and analysing hands away from the table. Thankfully I sat down and fully analsyed my game, marked out the situations where I was burning money and reduced the number of tables I was playing. This instantly helped me have a 10bb/100 hand month and have been doing good every since.
Work hard away from the tables and you should be able to beat 50nl within 3 months imo.

Well, I made it a point to use discipline, discipline, discipline and my money is going back up. Made a little gambling call when it was 3 handed and won over two players. The other two were just complete maniacs and I really thought I had the best hand with k10 diamonds. I mean they were shoving with anything and I got tired of it. I thought I had the best hand, but there was an aq and another hand i can't remember. Anyway, I won it with a pair of tens. Like a 17 dollar pot. I was crawling my way back on the 01 02 tables before that, a couple bucks at the time. Anyways, back at 112 now and anytime im in a full ring game, im just basically folding the whole time until i get a big hand. I make big bets with the nuts and they still call, so things are lookin up for now. Just have to remember to stay disciplined. Been taking notes almost every night I get done playing and that seems to be helping with my discipline. The main theme in my notebook is that TAG poker and solid poker works no matter what at these low stakes. Keep grindin!!!
Oh, and another thing. I've made it a point to sit at tables where the players seeing the flop % is high as fuck, and the pots are big and I just fold til I get it and basically bet, bet, bet, or raise, raise, raise and they're like crackheads to a rock. So far so good. I'm sure I'll lose some money on these tables too, but my money is going up a lot faster than on the tight tables I used to play.Last edited by TaknYourChips; 12-28-2010 at 09:11 PM.
