    Default Longest time card dead?

I started playing Pstars again Today after taking over a year off. I have put in 1K hands and have won maybe 10 pots. I am consistantly loosing 20BB/100 hands wich is slightly higher than the blinds I am posting because my hands are not holding up. (I have gone 3K hands of almost folding everyhand on Tilt)

What is the longest streak of pure card dead and no hands holding up that you guys have run into?

I played another 1K hands. Still loosing, now I am around 14BB/100 hands. I have been dealt AK about 14 times Today. 12os and 2s. I haven't paired ONE of them! I know this is a really small sample set, but I am sure hoping that I can start getting some cards.

I did river a nut flush to find out that someone else rivered a FH.

Do you play on other sites? If so might be good time to switch. Thats alot of hands in 10 hours lol You might also wanna open your play alitte, bet little more loose in late position, raise a bit looser in middle or something. Might help. What limits?

Dude you are obviously playing your cards all wrong. All I hear out of you is, i'm card dead, I keep getting sucked out on...Getting AK 14 times is not card dead. You don't have to pair the AK to win the hand. I have won with AK without hitting an A or K just as many times as I have won with hitting the A or K. You need to be more agressive. Take the pot. Like I said before it won't work every time, but to lose all 14 times with AK, that is just bad play, I don't care what the other person in the hand is holding. 7/10 times you should be able to get them off the hand. Unless they hit top pair or a set, depending on what the flop looks like, they are folding to the more agressive play. And if you have AK and are min raising preflop, that is always a huge mistake. It should only be you and 1 other person in the hand. Then if you get reraised preflop or after the flop, it's no biggie to lay it down. BE MORE AGRESSIVE.

Let's say this, the blinds are at 100/200 in a tourney. You have AK and are in the dealer position. Everyone eles has folded. What do you do?

I would raise to 800, then bet out flop no matter what (if it wasn't dangerous looking) Anyone calling shouldn't have crap.

    @ Knight- I am playing microstakes, NL2 and NL5.
@ Ipoker- I have been following through with every prelfop raise, and trust me I have not been min raising with AK. I would say that 1/2 I win the pot and 1/2 the time I lose. I was more trying to make the comment that I can't win a pot on a showdown.

@ Jar- I recently switched sites because I was running into a lot of 2nd best hands on Tilt so I went to Pstars for a while.I generally put in about 2-4K hands/day. I will try to open my range up more in late position.

So then back to the actual question, what is the longest time you guys have gone card dead?

idk how long card dead, I just started playing again, and I never really paid attention to that.

I used to play on Empire and pstars, but once the US thing kicked in, I had to only play on pstars (which I do now) Since I came back, I was thinking of getting into another site maybe in case cards are cold on one site or looking for better players or something.

It really depends on the table, you gotta adapt.

Good idea, I will start looking at some new sites. Though I will look for a site with weaker players

Longest I have ever been card dead is about 3 weeks. I always bounce back and the cards always fall in my favor eventually.
