    Default same suit 5 & 6 ?

    Hi
I am new to the site and from what i have read i think its great, I have already picked up a tip or two but still seem to be loosing, my problem is i keep looking at the flop with a low same suit hand, not a pair but if i have a 5&6 then i think its worth a look, what do you think?

seeing the flop 'just for a look' with 56 suited or 78 suited usualy depends on a lot of things, a few are position(got to be in position-maybe if i was small blind and everyone had either called or checked if they also posted a blind)

What players are involved, aggressive players/sharks/fish playing the same sort of hands out of position...

My stack size, if its a large stack compared to the rest of the field then i would recognise, i can afford it however if the others are short stack - theyre only going to be going with their big hands (i assume-depending on the player obviously again)

A lot of things go into one decision, you just got to get used to making the right decision and considering all possibilities.

I never play 56 (or any hand this weak) out of position, because good players will know your out of position and most probably raise you knowing this and steal your money - even if they had a weaker hand it stil usualy works ....

    but, im a fish
