Hi everybody,
As I mention in my first message I am a backgammon player but I have a special interest for poker. Last night I watched an online poker tournament. It was no limit holdem and the entry was 5 euro. I guess there was 1 table only and 10 players on it. There was a guy which doesn' t even have a proper nickname. The nickname was a combination of numbers; whatever.... The guy was one of the worst players I ever seen. He even called an all-in when he has absolutely nothing in his hand. He got many major winnings despite the wrong decisions he made. In one hand flop was T K 4. Another player got all-in, and our guy called it with 8-7 in his hand. And guess what happened on the turn and riverI think most of you already guessed, especially angry users about bad beats already knew the scenario. the turn was 9 and the river was 6. The guy won with a straight. Then he called another all-in with A-7 in his hand. His opponent had A-K. On the river 7 came to the table and saved the guy. With such victories this guy won the tournament.
I never believed that these sites are rigged but as I watch more tournaments my idea has started to change.... I am sure that the defense is "improbable is not impossible". I saw that many times at the forums but improbable means "rarely happens" and if those things are happening all the time even they are improbable then what is the answer for that situation?
