If you want to provide a real answer, please do so. Providing a study of hand histories will accomplish that definitively.

What stats did the articles provide? I saw nothing referencing statistically relevant number of hand histories. Again, I'm not disputing anything. The articles could very well be correct but actual data from hand histories would make much more sense and woul dbe more easily understood by the masses.

Detail is absent. Why doesn't the article cite who performed the study and where are the detailed results published? I'd be interested in reading the details of such a study if it exists.

I don't have a vested interest. My book earns a fraction of what I make at my "day job" so I'm certainly not going to go broke if news broke tomorrow that actual data exists that proves significant abnormalities exist. Heck, I wouldn't care either way if PokerStars and Full Tilt both held a press conference tomorrow stating they've been cheating all along.

Fair enough. Although do you not agree that making a study of millions of hand histories available which shows significant abnormalities would be the most effective way to demonstrate to the average joe that the deal is flawed (or "rigged" as others might say)?
