    Default pissing me off

    Hi,

just had to come on here and vent a bit.

firstly, im not the best poker player here there or anywhere. i enjoy it because it makes me think. despite my limited ability I try to play very tight and this usually goes ok for me. Sometimes I get in the money online - a few 2nd's, 3rd, 4th's.

I know poker is about dominating and in the last ten tournaments Ive played, ive gone terribly - but not from being dominated. When ive had a good hand I have raised and then been reraised all in. Weighing up my odds, on ten of these occassions Ive called, and I think about 8 times Ive been in front going in. But then when flop, turn or river comes I get busted. Sometimes it two running suited cards to hit a straight or flush, one time running jacks, once a ten and a six on the flop (yep reraised with 10 - 6).

    Its pissing me right off.

How do I combat this? I think going all in straight away makes it a gamble, id rather play cards and opponents bets but it isnt working.

    cheers tabnloz

one thing you can do it not to go all in before the flip -- another thing is too not play your all in hands like that. AA, KK, JJ will lose something like 70-80 percent of the time to a A9, J9, K10 str8 draw on their site. For whatever reason suck out hands win a lot on online poker once you figure that out you can adjust your play accordingly.

If you think you're beaten before you start playing, then you are.
