Quite simply want to warn everybody that Full Tilt Poker can not be trusted, and are best stayed well clear of.
I started having problems with them a few weeks ago, after using their refer a friend programme. I don't know (despite repeatedly asking why) if it was simply because he (the friend being referred) registered at my house on my computer, or whether it was something else about his details, but he was refused his first deposit and asked to verify his identity further by sending scanned documents. He couldn't be bothered doing this and simply gave-up.
The next day when I tried to log on I couldn't. I'd had no notification from Full Tilt of any problem, so sent them an e-mail to find-out what was going on. I wondered if it was a problem with my password so changed that, but still couldn't get on. Over the next few days I sent inquiring e-mails to both loginsupport and support, and still got no reply. Finally after over a week - despite the promise of 24/7 support - I got an e-mail from them saying my account was suspended. This included no apology for the delay, despite the fact I was being denied access to my own money (tantamount theft by them) and no explanation of what the problem was, just a demand for scanned personal documents.
Remember they had my money on the site, and took over a week to get in touch: not even a brief notification that there was a suspension. I was wondering if my software was malfunctioning, or my computer. Most ridiculously, to check this out, I tried to login from another friends computer, and afterwards his account was suspended as well; again, with no notification.
I've used other sites before without any problems, but I suspect like many people, I was drawn in by Full Tilt's heavy marketing. Don't make the same mistake. They have no respect for their customers and with so many other sites out there should definitely not be trusted.

its probably they use the "one user per computer" system , once they detect multiple users
on one ip they start restricting that ip ....
just a thought , I used to have the same problem with an online correspondence chess site..

The probably is the cause, but there's no excuse for not getting in contact.

the same thing happened to me. it is because the system show the same ip address and they worry about people creating multple accounts. eventually they cleared it up, but it was indeed a hassle. however, i was using absolute or ultimet bet when that occured

True, their support sucks balls, just make an extra effort to not deal with them.

Played Pacific poker and Poker stars without any problem, and generally good service, so happy to recommend them. Just caught by the slick appearance of Full Tilt; don't make the same mistake.

I played mainly on full tilt and also on pokerstars and cake. Pokerstars support rocks, stars and FTP are both great sites in every other regard and hard to seperate IMO.
