Greetings all,
Perhaps I just suck badly at cash games in particular, but when your 6 high straight on the turn is beaten on the river by a 7 high straight from someone who entered the hand (after a raise mind you) with 3 7 o/s you have to wonder if there is a God - if the other player had been Jamie Gold I could have taken it better. Is it Will Hill, or just me? A bit of both perhaps.![]()

Post the hand history and show how the betting went down. Then we can help you analyze your play and point out if you make a mistake or not.

I wish I could, but I'm not sure I have it, although I think I made a mistake playing 3 4 o/s to start with, regardless of the fact I had the straight on the turn, and I had bet it heavily as well, but some people just wont fold, and the 4 on the river sealed my fate!
Best,
RKBB

I've come to the conclusion having played 5 sit and goes coming 1st once and 2nd twice that I am more suited to tourney play then cash games. I'm not sure if its about a headspace thing, or whether I just don't have a good enough bankroll to take the hits in cash games. Mind you, I may well be playing above my bankroll as well.

Just wish I could do it in a descent tourney! And in Answer to PIV have not been to the zoo in a very long time, but glad you mentioned it.
