100.00 30K guaranteed FakeTilt poker tourny. Top 36 cash and there were about 115 left. I was a bit less than average chip stack (I had about 6500). I was second to act with 99. Blinds were 600 I believe and I just called with 99. Usually raise with 9s, but early position, wanted to see the action. Small Blind and Big Blind just call so it is us 3. Flop is K clubs 9 spades and Jack of clubs. Small blind raises 4000 and big blind folds. It's on me. What would you do.....and don't say preflop raise with 99!!

How Would You Play This

1. I would post this in SNG & MTT Hand Analysis section.
2. I would save and convert the Hand History so everyone could make a better judgment of how the hand actually played out.
3. I probably would push and hope that the sb didn't have 10 Q, two clubs or any other drawing hand. i doubt he has jj or kk and i know i won't be able to push him off his hand with the 1900 chips more that he'll have to call, so i'm hoping i'm ahead and can stay ahead.
If he does have the straight you have 8 outs on the turn and 11 on the river as long as they are still alive for the redraw.f*cking it up for everyone else since 1969.

sorry, but I am going to say it ...
you should have preflop raised with 99
When your stack gets down to 10bb you should be committing yourself preflop, or just folding.
To analyse more deeply, you dont have to worry about SB having JJ/KK. If he can have those hands here , he is so retarded he could being doing this with J2o as well. That only leaves QT, and its not often people bet 2x pot on flop with the nuts. Moreover, you have 33% equity against QT anyway. I wouldnt fold for 200bb let alone 10

Shove for sure. Surely you can't be considering folding? What was the point in limping pocket pairs if you're gonna fold when you hit a set. Calling is also out the window, his bet is almost your entire stack anyway so he wants to get you all in or scare you off. He probably has KJ, KQ, KT.
