Online Poker is better than land based Poker

The Online poker has got many advantages as benefits as compared to land based poker rooms.
The first and foremost comfort it provides to the poker lovers and the regular players is to have it online from anywhere and anytime. This in turn saves time and also saves the travelling fare which can be further utilised in the game. Because it is now available online, more time can be spent on the practice and in turn the chances of becoming expert player increases.
There are wide range of poker games online as compared to the land based ones.Also at home, playing it online gives more comfort as the only concentration is on the game and not on crowd. This also increases the level of enjoyment.

In the internet you can play multiple tables at once. It increases the winning chances and in turn can raise your profits too, because you most likely end up playing 200 or more hands per hour.
One of the best benefit of Online Poker is that there is no real dealer in online poker room and so there is no tip. In the land based poker, if you start counting the amount of tips being given to the dealers, it is more than you can afford for that purpose. So all these money can be best utilise in the game in the online poker.

Even though it is mentioned earlier that you can end up playing more than 200 hands per hour, it is assured that you have enough time to focus on your strategy and play without external pressure like sexy dealers, staring eyes, much crowd and similar other factors.

Maybe but sometimes seeing a player face to face can be so profitable! (Drools) I mean I have taken a heap of people for cash via their body language. Yeah I like online too but the only real advantage to online is the low limits when your broke lol. Just my opinion however.

- True... And the opposite (lose more and faster) is also true

-Agreed. But I play the electronic tables at the casino so it's live electronic poker. No dealers, no tips. Only rake like in online cash games. Maybe the rake is a bit more live. 10% rake, cap at 5$ per pot.

-That though, is bullshit... Nobody intimidates me in any shape or form in live games

4 things that make online poker better than 'live':-

1. You can play in your pyjamas (or less)
2. You can play while everyone else thinks you're working
3. If you don't like the other players at the table you can get up and leave without giving a tip or getting your name on the list for another table. There's 1000's of other tables out there waiting for you.
4. You can stalk a fishy player or watch a table closely before you join, and nobody will know or think you're a nutter.

Bad things about online play.

You have to get your own snacks.
