Default Anyone Play Online Poker For A Living?

Hello, I am thinking of turning online poker into my job. I have been consistantly building up a roll since christmas day. Turning $40 into $2000. I just cashed out $400. Does anyone here do this for a living? I have a $1500 roll right now. I am thinking of grinding out NL25 mostly as well as some tourneys and SNGs. Any tips/Tricks would be great. Your personal daily/weekly averages of your preffered game would help. As well as how much time you put in.

I know for myself, I would enjoy the game a lot less if I had to make a certain amount of money. Not that I'm good enough right now by any stretch of the imagination. It would probably be doable if you won one of the big tourneys before going full-time.

There's a few players here that do

My tip to you would be to find the best rakeback and bonus deals you possibly can because these make a really big difference to how much money you can make.

Default A living?

I'm not to sure if you could call it a living, but as of now, online poker is my only job. I only play at Ultimate Bet playing NL400, I have 3k that I keep in my balance at all times, and at the end of the month I cash out everything over that. It can be anywhere from 1500 to 5,000. Mostly ranging in the 2k to 3k (profit). See, when I play on UB, where I keep the vast majority of my roll, I play tighter than hell. If you ever catch me on a differnt site I have a totally differnt style of play.

As far as starting out with 1k or 1.5. I dont know, I would keep working where ever you are and then just keep adding to your roll with each paycheck until you have a sustainable amount of money that you can start off with. Playing NL25 for a living I would think would be stressfull as hell. BUT, if your just looking for a change and can afford to only live off of 1k a month. Then go for it. But grinding for a living is never a good idea.

It is definately possible for you to live off of your earnings at NL25. I know a guy that plays omaha and does just fine.

three months of play is hardly a good enough indicator of how good someone is at poker, so making a life decision based on that is pretty lol

how old are you kayos, and how many hands have you logged at NL25

I can't imagine living off of NL25, that'd be terrible

Well its not like if I decide to do this for an income now I am stuck with it forever... But I feel I can make a consistent profit each month playing poker. I am 19 years old and I haven't been logging hands as bodog is not compatible with poker tracker

Haven't dropped yet, plan is, if I get below 1.5k then I'll start multi-tabling the micros like you MJperry! But as for now I can't stand the bad beats and suckouts you guys put on me. imo.

Also said it wasn't my only roll, DUH!
