thank you! i just went to full tilt & am looking at their store, but it says you have to have points to buy apparel, so im trying to figure out how to get points (would you happen to know?)
oh, he already has a couple of books by harrington, do you think the FT book would still be interesting to him?

o ya, to buy apparel from fulltiltpoker.com you need points which you get from playing on their site. You could still get great deal from eBay or any other sites like that. And yes I glanced through the full tilt book and looks like it covers alot of material. Covers more than Harrington on Holdem as it is only for tournament play.

If he doesn't have a subscription (or doesn't want one) you could buy him some videos from Cardrunners.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

Buy him into a tournament at your local casino. My wife did that for me and I ended up taking down 3rd place out of 120 players. A HUGE win win situation!

If he has a couple of books by Harrington, check what they are.
There are 3 published now. Volume 1 (blue), Volume 2 (red) and Volume 3 (Silver).
Top 3 books here:
Amazon.com:
Buy him the one he doesn't have and he will be very impressed.
If he has all 3, then probably the buying him into a $50 tournament at local casino would be best imo.Best Current Ongame Deal.
