Default General poker help

Idk what it is, i read and read and get my head in the game

but no matter what I do, playing 1$ sngs

or when i played mtts
or even NL2, it just seems, that no matter what u have, they call huge bets with 1 outers and everything, then they hit, i get pissed, and start tilting

right now im currently on a break again

ive been on a few 2-3 dayers, but im going a whole week

I just need a way to get my confidence back up to start winning, right now im exclusively playing 1$ sngs, and thats fine, i should be back to winning those

I know HOH will help as well, but I bust out of mtts in like 20 minutes, and NL 2 and so on..I dont know what to do, I have success live, but i want success online

I'm playing the same stakes as you and too be honest I think you are probably over analyzing everything and expecting too much out of your players. You have to remember these people are 90% idiots.

I can't really comment on ring games cause I am pretty much exclusively playing multi table sngs or mtt from 1 - 3 dollars. I have had great success so far with the 45 man 1 dollar sng, its almost impossible not to cash.

Play very tight, don't play a hand unless its for a raise, never slow play/trap people and that includes pre flop there is no value cause they are going to call you anyways you might as well get them all in. Don't worry if people fold to your all in pre flop cause eventually you will find the donk that will call.

Also don't worry about playing tight and waiting for a big hand, people still won't give you credit even if you haven't played a hand for 15 minutes.

I think thats my problem as well over analyzing, I know people say they lose alot early on cause they are bored at first or watever, but I just get so focused from the start that I lose more than if im messing around...

im exclusively ONLY playing sngs right now....so mtts really dont matter

I dont know I play tight in mtts, and raise good hands, bad hands call outdraw me, and i dont make it past 20 minutes in mtts, my longest ever was the first hour in a 1$ mtt, only had 3k in chips, and lost with Q Q.....but oh well, i just wanna improve that part of my game

+1 to what the LouisvilleLip said

ur not interested in winning these $1 sngs....u should only care about getting into 3rd spot(and so the money) and then going on to win them.

the best and easiest way to get into the money is to sit tight early and let the other guys knock each other out with their rags v rags......when u eventually get a monster hand, you WILL get paid off as thats what these people do best.

there is also no need to overanalyse hands at this level.....there is absolutely no harm at all in u wanting to read and learn more BUT theres no value whatsoever in u trying to overanalyse the other guys play in these games as the vast majority of them arent even thinking themselves. This does mean you should not be posting hands that you have played.....YOU NEED TO POST HANDS FOR REVIEW.

if ur confidence is down, you need to only play one sng at a time instead of tilting away multiple buy-ins at the same time.

I hear that they respect your raises at 10 dollar rebuys.
