If you just want a brag factor play SNG's, they can be easy to win at the low levels, and require very little post flop skill.

How to beat them? Learn the ICM models for push/fold techniques, which are brilliant for bubble play, which is the most important time in an SNG.

If you can't at least win a few dollars after reading those articles and applying the principles properly I'd be very surprised.

Unfortunately, in low buy-ins your gonna take your share of beats. Why? Because you have a lot of new players to the game and you also have people experimenting with there games at this level as well. However, you are also likely to pick up a nice stack early because of this as well. So, if you can handle the swings in variance in the long run it should work out for you.

The $1 sng's are full of those who call. Over the long term if you play it right (according to Daniel Negreanu tight=right on tables of poorer players) then you can do well but you need to realize that 1) there will be plenty of variance (losing a ton of times in a row followed by enough wins to make up for it) and 2) tilt is your #1 enemy. Tilt is the mind-killer, tilt is the little death, tilt is (I forget the rest).
