This is SO god damn true.
My theory is : online poker = mostly young people = smarter than pappies
pappies and grannies don't know how to use computers. So what's left is a pool of young people, knowing how to use computers (and poker software for that matter), getting edges everywhere.
Plus, people at casino's, you see lots of tourist and so on, that you don't see online. Why the hell would you play online poker if it's not to make money ?
Live poker, you see people playing for lots of other reasons than to make money has socializing, fooling around, "just for fun", being with people, etc. Mostly loose-passive calling stations.
The last year onlie, the competition has gotten much harder. At the 1$ sng, you see what used to be 5$ sng. At the 5$ sng, the level is what the 10$ sng used to be, and so on. Every level has gone up a notch.
That's what I noticed.
