Are sites like sharkscope.com and others such as 'official poker rankings' against poker room t&c's or are you alowed to look up tourny info on people? i know they will never catch you using it just wondering...

Depends on the site. Pokerstars just added Sharkscope to their "restricted" section of their T&C. Also, I guess there software client does monitor what websites you visit while PS is running. One way around is to run Shark Scope on a different computer, or ni an isolated environment
