Unhappy good hand bad flop

Hi! I have a question, i been playnig for real money online, i started a couple weeks ago,but i keep losing on good hands, suchlike high pairs, pair of AA ot KK and the i start betting hart preflop, nad low cards come in the flop nad i raised, but i lose on a hand of 34 with a straight or 82 with two pair...
Is it bad luck?
Is it the site?
Or what u think it is, cause i really dont know!

Don't we all want to know! How long have you been playing, and what limits?

One pointer is to post your bad beats in the River Rats section and people will try to help you.

Or put them in Hand analysis and we will analyse them.

Losing is very common, actually. Don't worry too much and start improving things one at a time.

Last time I was reading an poker article written by a Pro. He says he earns about $100 per hour, but with a standard deviation six times of that. This means that in any given hour, 95% of the chance you will see him from losing $1200, to winning $1400. So the fluctuation can be really big.

But if you are good (and become better) you will win slowly and surely.

You really need to use PokerTracker to keep tabs of your progress at various games and limits.

Post hand histories and get advice from others on whether you played it well or not. At lower limits you'll see plenty of crazy plays that get rewarded because the money is an amount most people don't care about.

And sometimes that happens in the middle and higher limits too. Although it's less likely, but there are some players with deep pockets and little skill, who just like action.

I've seen monkeys in live games with a pair of 2's chase to the river when the flop is and hit their 2 on the river to bust someones 2 pair. Some people will just not fold. I had one kid in my home game who would like a hand like in first position and then call a push for all his chips with it because it was sooted!

Players like that either win the tourney or go home quick (at least in home games. Online they're usually the guys with 20,000 chips in a tournament when the average stack is 3,000. And in the middle rounds they tend to donk off all their chips and lose their lead, busting out before they even reach the money)

That's the trouble with playing online, there's plenty of fish, which is generally a good thing, but the downside is that they are so reluctant to fold. So when they keep calling with rubbish they will often eventually get lucky and bring down your good hand.

Actually, the live players are even worse than the online ones in my experience. But you get a lot less hands per hour live, so the suckouts don't hit you as frequently.
