i'm laughing at the 25-1 death and 50-1 quit poker thing too.

i doubt he'd listen to a girl who wouldn't let him online. he had three girlfriends, last i heard, but i just can't imagine a girl controlling alex.

maybe he just got sick of the forum and didn't want to have to do a goodbye post and such, so he just left.

uh.. my take on it is that his computer broke or something, and then later on he went on a little trip to mexico or something and couldn't get near a computer..
