i have had the 20gb ipod for almost 2 years now. i would not buy anything else. the complaint that most people have is that you have to have itunes to update it, but i think that itunes is a better player than winamp or all the other players that are out right now, and also you can't transfer music from the ipod into a different computer than you have itunes loaded on. i did delete over 3000 songs off my ipod by doing this one time. but they sell software now that makes this possible.

I know where you can get a free ipod... it also has software that will show you the probably hole cards and board of the major sites.... www.patternmapper.com

My wife and I both have 20gb iPods and we both use them daily. One suggestion though, if you can afford the extra money. Definitely go with the 20 gig...1k songs may seem like a lot..but if you're listening to it everyday, it will start to get repititive. Also podcasts are great and one of them usually takes up 8-9 songs worth of space, so even listening to one or two regularly can eat up your space.
