Does it ever change?

Does it ever get any better or are people always jerks. Having a true friend in high school is like winning the lottery. People are only interested in being accepted, no one really cares about anybody.

Trust me these arent "assholes" these are people you think are "TRUE" friends and then completely throw you off like dirt... let me just say that for now and i will have a longer post to come.

maybe you can take some comfort in knowing most people you know in high school you will never see again

I know the situation hellmuth is in, considering I also find myself in that situation. Someone you thought you could trust, hang out with, talk too, suddenly feels they are "too good" for you. They no longer call you to hang out, even when it is a party with sooo many people and not even one more person (you) can come.

It SUCKS to be excluded from activities, considering I have been many of times. Some people just think they are now better than you and no longer need your friendship i guess.

In my situation one(or a few) people started to dislike me for no reason(atleast not that I know of) and instead of talking to me about it they just decided they would rather not hang out with me anymore. I guess that is their choice and if thats their way of "dealing" with their "friends" than they werent really "friends" in the first place.

Helmuth, i for one will always be a true friend, thru the good times (parties, playing poker, winning mtt's, etc) and the bad (being excluded, breaking windshields, losing your bankroll, etc.)

I guess that in time people change, but I for one consider you a true friend through it all. Good night all.

college is much better.... just keep that in mind as you grind it out in HS
