in college people are more relaxed cuz, at least in big schools, there's no real social hierarchy and people just don't care about what other people think because the majority of people at the school don't know that they exist and people generally like meeting new people.

that said, it sucks being excluded from things. hang in there. maybe meet some new people? or just wait for these ones to come around...good luck.

I'll try and sugar coat this as much as possible, but it basically seems like you need new friends. Find some real friends because these don't seem like they appriciate your frienship and respect you. It may be nothing you have done, just something they don't like about your personality. Not everybody is going to like and be friends with everybody.

If not being invited to a party is the worst thing that your friends ever do to you consider yourself lucky.

I know I only have like 4-5 really good friends. The rest are just people I hang out with, drink with, screw around with. I wouldn't worry too much about the party. Realize these 4 years don't mean anything.

There are no true friends, so sorry. Truth is, you're probably not all that great of a friend yourself and don't even know it.


Do yourself a favor and find a best friend who you do everything with, works better than loose group friendships where people can leave you out of the fun.
