Can you create files in that directory on Z:? If not check the permissions for guest/IUSR account?

Do you have this setup through a DSN? Make sure its not set to "exclusive".

ok yes i can fully create/edit/delete files in the directory. But only certain ones, usually the bigger dbase/application files are giving me trouble over the network, and just not this directory.

How do you connect to the Z:\ database? Do you alter the DSN (Data Source Names) / ODBC connection strings? You can get to it under Control Panel -> Admin Tools -> Data Sources (ODBC). Under SystemDSN there should be a few DSN for Poker Tracker. Click configure on each one, and then Options... and make sure the Exclusive check mark is not checked. You might have to verify this on both computers.

What OS are being run on each? You can IM me at CanadianJay2001 if you like.

Its connected through PT's database manager as a mapped network drive. I have PT installed on both machines and synced copis of the dbase on both, but I dont want ot number crunch on the laptop.


OK its not exclusive, but the issue is the random allowances. I can access some files and not others? Wtf?
