I guess its because he can get his two in reverse order (i.e. HH reversed is HH) whereas B has to hit HT and cannot hit TH?

well forget me, i don't know after thinking about it more it seems av is right. each player has a 50% chance of hitting the H, and then each player has a 50% chance of hitting the T or H. maybe its because on american quarters a T is slightly more likely!

here is the mathematical proof that i am correct. BOTH PLAYERS NEED HEADS TO BEGIN THEIR WIN (HT and HH)
their odds of achieving heads are EXACTLY THE SAME.. then after that the odds of HT hitting his tails is EXACTLY THE SAME to HH hitting his heads, i win, you lose

I think bonch is smoking something or using some weird theory
over the 8 possible combinations of going to a 3rd toss it is still even
TTT
HHH
THH
THT
HHT
TTH
THT
HTT
